The Bump!

For some reason I'm looking really small, of course that's not the way I feel! I've lost a pound since my last appt.Everything is going good, I had to go to the doctor for a "misc" reason we won't talk about and the heartbeat was 159, up a little from what it was last week, 152. We are so anxious to know what the sex is, but we will just have to wait!! That's August 24th in case I didn't share that last time.

Kristin, this pic is for you, I normally don't put "skin" photos on the net! lol! Love ya'll and hate that we didnt' get to come to the beach, the photos were so great!

Update!

We had the heartbeat appointment today. It was by far the quickest appointment I've ever been through yet. The baby's heartbeat was 152, so that's good! We scheduled the ultrasound appointment for August 24th. We can't wait! I just hope I don't cry like a baby from the pain from holding in all that water! I'm trying to practice!

I purchased a changing table from a fellow employee at SGMC, which I was too excited about because the one we were going to get to match the crib was like $329.00 and I got it for $40.00 and there's nothing wrong it! It can be used as a dresser later, which I'm all about saving money in the future.

We also got a stroller from a lady Becca knows for free! From what I understand it's a really good one. Yay, more savings! It's navy blue and green, but we'll use it if we have a little girl as well. It was too good to pass up! So thank you, sweet lady I've never met! Aaron and I thought about pushing it down the road with the dog in it for kicks! he he. Just kidding, must keep it clean!

12 Weeks today

Sorry guys. Not sure where to find one of those tickers. I am 12 weeks today. We go for the heartbeat Monday afternoon, and we are super ready and excited. Kristin was nice enough to let us borrow her heart doppler (think that's what it's called) but we haven't had any luck, I think it may still be too early. I think I'm just as ready for them to had me my next appointment card so I can know when the actual ultrasound is!

We picked out a crib at Babies R US in Jacksonville a few weeks ago and I can't wait to get it. More so, I can't wait to find out if we are having a little boy or girl or more importantly one of two or more! he he. I'm ready to start decorating! I'm attaching a photo that was on the "reviews" section of the website that had the crib listed. I like seeing how other people feel about things and how they decorate!

Side note-Kristin-Your hardwood floors look great in the kitchen, I can't believe how different it looks. Miss you guys!

Still pregnant!!!!

I originally promised myself to blog on a more regular basis, but it seems like it's the same thing everyday, and I'm not sure everyone wants to hear about what made my tummy hurt or how tired I feel all the time! The hormones are a kickin..I'm having the most random thoughts- which range from sadness, smiles, and the bursts of anger..not anything in general..you know, just wanting to shake not so smart people sometimes.(and yes, to keep people thinking I'm not going to be a good mother, I changed the work "shake" a few times to not sound so violent!)
I work in HR, it's bound to happen pregnant or not!

I will say the last past two weeks have been "heavenly" compared to the others as far as feeling sick. I haven't had any really bad spells (except for Friday night in Steinhatchee- Jess I swear it wasn't your dessert)! I wake up feeling a lot better in the mornings than what I had been. That's a huge plus! I'm still feeling tired, but a little less "coma like", I can actually move in the afternoons instead of almost completly passing out when I hit the door at 5:00! I'm managing to cook a little more again, and hope it only gets better! I did bake my first blueberry cobbler the night before last, thanks to my wonderful in-laws for picking the berries!

I'm still waiting for chocalate to taste good again, and I'm really needing my love for hamburger meat/steaks at Roadhouse to go back to normal. It's like a something sinful to go to Roadhouse and watch everyone eat steaks, and I'm eating salad. But I will say Texas Roadhouse has the most awesome house salad! Can you tell I'm pregnant, my blogs are about food! ha ha.

I would post photos on this blog, but that would take to much energy to get off the couch, find my camera, the cords and the hook it up and hit a few more buttons! tee hee hee.

Love you guys and will post photos next time!

When will food taste good again???

Oh my word the nausea! I thought I had a good handle on it, and BAM out of no where today was the roughest. Wheat thins, mints, hundreds of glasses of water, milk, bread, NOTHING would make it go away! Everything tastes the same..so bland. THE MADNESS! ha ha.

While I'm whining..I usually consider my hike to work a blessing in disguise..it's my chance to have fresh air for a few minutes and it's been my extra dose of excerise for quite some time now. But feeling as rough as I did today that walk would never end! For those of you who don't know..I work in the Doctor's Building on Pendleton, and I have to park on the backside of Mathis Auditorium, which usually I'm positive about, but today I would have gladly taken a scooter!

Moving on, my doctor's appointment (dreaded physical) went really smoothly yesterday.I was so hesitate about the new lady I was seeing, but she was so professional. I was told I was where I needed to be, officially at 7 weeks and 3 days today, and they kept my due date for Jan. 23. Our hearbeat ultrasound will be July 13th...which I cannot wait for Aaron and I to experience that together! Yay!

I also want to tell everyone who left a comment on my blog, THANK YOU! I think I'm still in shock but super excited of course!

On a more positive note..I had a wonderful hair day today! ;) Must go fry some chicken for my hunnie!

Yay for Baby!

Soooo...We're having a baby!!! Yay! Now I can blog about my baby and quit stalking other peoples! Just kidding!...

I'll be seven weeks on Sunday the 7th! We found out at 4 weeks and I managed to keep my mouth shut! My sister swore she knew last week or so because my face looked swollen. Our families are super excited, and so are we!

Here's the low down, the elephant sized purple colored pre natal vitamins I've been taking make me feel like poo. I realized they were making me sick moreso than anything. I now wake up and drink a glass of water, eat a few saltines and pop a mint in my mouth while I get ready in the mornings. Then I'm chugging a Sprite on the way out the door and eat about a whole pack of Saltines when I get to work.

I'm usually the energizer bunny and am always, ALWAYS doing something, and now it's all I can do to get out of the bed in the mornings and to not hit the couch the minute I get home at night. I'm just so tired!

I went to the doctor last week and I weighed 132.6, which means I've already put on a little since the last time I went just for my neurology appts. I have a physical on Monday so I can't wait to see what I'll weigh then. My favorite two things, Coke and Chocalate now taste like the bottom of my foot, which is God's gift to me to get healthy! I've been eating Saltines, and carrots and haven't fried anything in the past week or so.. I'm trying to slowly replace all the bad eating habits I have. I guess the "metallic" taste in your mouth is going to hold true for me.

Learning how to sit still and rest and let people help me is going to be the biggest challege.. Becca, Kristin, Melissa and all the other mommies reading my blog, please fill free to share your wisdom!

Love you!

Day of Practice!!!

Yay!I had my first day babysitting Autumn all by myself. It was a lot of fun changing many diapers (might I add she was still "going" while I was removing one!) instant entertainment! I also got my dose of cartoons today, lets see, we covererd Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Handy Manny, and a few others I'm not sure about!

I managaged to feed her on time and get ready and carry her to my neurology appointment and get her back in the car before the bottom dropped out. Of course I hated to take her out to bring her in because she was sleeping so peacefully and it was raining, and even though I tried putting a blanket over her head, she hated that cold rain..She recovered quickly and partied on my little pallet in the living room until it was time for the next bottle! It seemed like everytime she'd fall to sleep, it was time to take her somewhere. I hated that =(
I can only imagine how Becca feels (and every other mommy)because today flew by, I felt like I blinked my eyes and the day was over...I can see how months just go by so quickly.. Anywho..it was great practice, and showed me the need for an SUV!
