There may be hope....
Friday night Ella was acting really sleepy, so around 10:30ish I got a shower and decided to try her out in her crib again, I thought, she's eaten, she's breathing ok (she's been really congested latly, therefore we got off track with getting her in the crib any earlier) so why not give it a try, well, we put her down, turn the monitors on, and I slept in the living room thinking I'd hear her better if she moved crooked or something! ha ha...Well, I set my alarm for around 1:30ish, that's what time she normally wakes up to eat again, and woke up and checked on her (i'm pretty sure I was sleep walking) and she was doing great-I was so shocked!!)so she slept up until 4:00, WHICH IS HUGE for us! Needless to say, I was super excited. Now the next night, were weren't so lucky. She gets on such a schedule with the babysitter, on the weekends she gets all out of whack! She kept me up all night, but I will say I have a wonderful husband, he offers to get up with her on the weekend mornings and let me go back to sleep for a bit. She's doing great with napping in there when I get ready in the mornings- I just wish I would have known to take her off that elevated positioner sooner-I was so worried about her horrible reflux, it didnt occur to me how uncomfortable that thing probably was, as soon as I bought the flat one without elevation, she fell right to sleep-now only to get her sleeping in it through the nights! And so are the adventures of being a new mommie!

For Ryan!
I had Ella! Woo hoo! Ha ha! Yes, it's been forever since I've been on here, but I have a good excuse, I've been super busy with a very high maintenance little girl that has stole my heart and daddy's too!
She weighed 7 lbs 9 ounces and was born at 11:59am, the nurses were really hungry and wanted lunch at 12!
I was actually scheduled to be induced that Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) but she decided to start making her way here that Saturday night around 7:00. I started having contractions and was bleeding quite a bit so I went to the hospital to get checked and they sent me home by 11 that night with a shot in my rear end--thanks guys, because that is exactly what you want to make you feel better, well, the shot was suppossed to control the contractions and let me sleep, but the contractions were down to three minutes apart and I'd dilated to 4 by the time I made my second trip to the hospital at 3am. Needless to say I was exhausted by the time she made it here, I didn't sleep from that Saturday morning around 8 until Sunday night around 10. I was still working full time up until Friday afternoon when they took one look at my huge feet and put me on bed rest. I didn't think I'd could be any more exhausted, that was until we brought her home and she decided she was hungry every 45 minutes! She's a healthy little one- she currently weighs 11lbs 14ozs and is 22 and 5/8 long!
I'll fast forward, it's been an eye opening adventure, but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. I love her and could just hold her and stare at her for hours.
I went back to work yesterday after 10 weeks of being home with her and there's no way to describe what that felt (feels) like, leaving your baby with a complete stranger, my heart goes out to all moms (and dads) that have to do this.
I'll end this for now with a few photos.

27 Weeks and 4 days!
I'm 27 weeks and 4 days now, but here's the photo I never uploaded for 25 weeks!
Update: My back feels like it's breaking in half..no biggie!
I met with the hemotologist last Monday I believe, and because my iron was so low, I'm now taking 325 mg three times a day with my prenatal vitamin. My body is getting used to it :)
Other than that, I'm just taking it all in stride, and eating everything in sight! Woo hoo! And Ella is having a party inside my belly on a regular basis now!

Mini Update
Just a mini update...
I had a few spells over the last past few weeks, where I would be in a store doing grocery shopping or just running a quick errand, and I would start sweating and feeling like I would collapse at any moment and have that really "heavy" feeling like someone just dropped a cinderblock on my bladder or something.. Well, I had to do the two hour sugar test at Southern OB the week before last, and the sugars came back ok, but the iron test came back really low. It wasn't the b12 part but the Ferritin levels and my red blood count was really low. From what I understand, it's on a scale from 10-291 and my test came back as a 7. So they now have me taking an extra iron supplement with my prenatal vitamin and I'm meeting with the Hemotologist on the 12th for more lab work, and I'll do another "random' sugar test on the 22nd of this month. It's one of those things that I'll do anything to find out what's going on, I just want to do what I need to fix it to make sure Ella is going to be ok.
Other than that, we're still super excited!!! I know these next few months will go by so fast with Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years coming up...I'll be 25 weeks on Saturday, and hope to post a new picture of the belly! I'm finally feeling her practice her martial arts on a more regular basis, and I hope Aaron can feel her kick soon!

Just going with the flow!
I'm so behind on blogging! I laugh because I almost said there's no time, but I'm sure there's going to be a whole new meaning to that in a few months.
So, it's a GIRL!!! Yippy! I'm so excited, which I would have just have been equally as excited if it were a boy, but it's so cool how everything changes once you know what it is. Her name will be Ella Elise Horne. She's currently 8oz and everything went very well at the doctor's appointment Monday (I'm sugar coating that a bit-but I'll spare the details), but baby is healhty and hopefully happy, even though her mom did jumping jacks in the bathroom multiple times to make her wake up and uncross her legs, I didn't drink all that water and go through that pain to not know! ha ha!
I'll post a photo of "the bump" on Saturday, I'll be 20 weeks! I can't believe how quickly this is going by!
Other than the massive bumps appearing on my face and the new beard I'm sporting, I've gotten most of my energy back and I can tell I'm eating more. The doctor wasn't happy that I hadn't gained a lot of weight, so they are making me see a nutritionist on the 24th of this month. I'm eating mac and cheese, grilled chicken, fried chicken, bagels, sandwiches, pickles, peanut butter, cookies and milk like it's going out of style, amd I missing something here?
I'm going to try to post a photo of the crib set we like, the only thing is our crib is white, but I'm hopefully it will turn out cute! I'll be sure to put up a photo when it's all done!

The Bump!
For some reason I'm looking really small, of course that's not the way I feel! I've lost a pound since my last appt.Everything is going good, I had to go to the doctor for a "misc" reason we won't talk about and the heartbeat was 159, up a little from what it was last week, 152. We are so anxious to know what the sex is, but we will just have to wait!! That's August 24th in case I didn't share that last time.
Kristin, this pic is for you, I normally don't put "skin" photos on the net! lol! Love ya'll and hate that we didnt' get to come to the beach, the photos were so great!
(Excuse the panties!)
